There are a multitude of ways to implement ONE VOICE in your own facility, but it all begins with YOU! Start to spread the word, share what you know! The biggest way to make a difference is each person taking the initiative to make a positive change in their own environment, whether it is in a hospital setting, an outpatient clinic, Urgent Care Center, Emergency Department, dental office...it takes just ONE VOICE to make a difference!!

I've been teaching ONE VOICE for about 20 years and during that time I've gained a lot of valuable insight and developed techniques for introducing the ONE VOICE approach that just makes sense to healthcare professionals. If your institution is interested in hosting me as a guest speaker/lecturer, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
"Our pediatric unit completed an extensive evidence-based practice project to improve our management of procedural pain in children. We discovered ONE VOICE as part of our literature review and its philosophy and principles fit perfectly with the research we were reading. Debbie Wagers came to our hospital and presented the ONE VOICE program to our entire pediatric staff, who embraced it immediately. Her workshops were fun, informative, and "hands-on", enabling staff members to practice distraction and positioning techniques with feedback from Debbie and from one another. Staff members were able to begin using the techniques immediately to improve procedural pain management for our patients and their families."
